Short answer
Yes. Active Matter supports cross-platform multiplayer on Steam, Gaijin.Net PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Cross-progression is more limited: the official FAQ confirms shared progress between Steam and Gaijin.Net on PC, but not between PC and console versions.
Crossplay and progression table
| Feature | Supported? | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Cross-platform multiplayer | Yes | Players on supported platforms can play across platform boundaries. |
| Steam ↔ Gaijin.Net PC progress | Yes | The official FAQ confirms shared PC progress. |
| PC ↔ PlayStation progress | No | The official FAQ says PC and console progress cannot be transferred. |
| PC ↔ Xbox progress | No | The same console-to-PC restriction applies. |
Crossplay is not cross-progression
Crossplay answers who you can play with. Cross-progression answers where your account progress follows you. Active Matter supports broader multiplayer connections than progress transfer, so do not assume that playing with another platform also moves your inventory or progression there.
Account linking
Use the current official account-linking flow when moving between Steam and Gaijin.Net PC. Do not rely on old linking deadlines or screenshots: account windows and interface steps can change after an update.
